We can do the State Safety Inspection on any vehicle that goes down the road. Motorcycles, trailers, trucks Rv's and of course cars.  Emission Inspection for any vehicles that are required. We also can do waiver inspections, so if your check engine light is on, we are the ones to see.

We use the Alldata Information System and can provide OEM - Original Equipment Manufacture - maintenance service schedules. We also belong to IATN - International Automotive Technicians Network - and use the information to provide pattern failure diagnosis, when appropriate.  And, of course, there's some good old fashioned common sense when dealing with individuals and their wheels.  We like to know what your  plans are, such as,  "I want to keep this going to 200,000  miles"  or "just get me to next January!"

Brake pad replacement and rotor re-surfacing are no problem.  We have the tried and true Ammco 4000 drum and rotor re-surfacing machine. We will take the time to see if it makes financial sense, to re-surface or replace rotors, before moving ahead with the repair. Tie rod ends, balljoints, shocks and struts all get serviced here. If the exhaust is making to much noise, we'll quiet it down.

Thanks to OBD II, there's plenty of check engine light or MIL problems. We can diagnose them using a variety of tools. We use Snap-on scanners, Ease and Auto enginuity PC based scanners to get codes, data and clear systems. When the problem is specialized, we have OEM contacts to get the problem resolved.

Cars are adding more safety systems, so we keep going to school and investing in tools and knowledge to diagnose these systems. Being a "general" garage makes this a constant battle.  Newest tool in the shop is A tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) scan tool from Autel.  We use this to verify proper sensor operation before installing tires and getting the lights out after service.  Starting in 2008 every passenger vehicle in the USA was required to have these installed on the rims.

If your engine doesn't seem to make the power it should or is running rough, we can test your engine to find the problem. This can be as simple as basic maintenance, such as spark plug replacements, or as complicated as engine rebuilding.   We can discuss all your options, so you can make an informed decision.
